Luminary Clay Class

In this class, Laura Holling Kaplan, master clay sculptor, will guide you 

through handbuilding steps and show you texture techiques 

to allow you to create your very own Clay Luminary 

to light up your patio or inside your home. 

You will be creating your clay creation from scratch!

Yes!...from a slab of clay! I promise...You Can Do This!

This class was created for Novice, Non-Artsy Folks!

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED

Laura's "Follow Me" instruction style will make you confident that

you can create your own functional artwork.

With her help, you will choose textures from stamps, rollers 

and other tools that will give your piece it's own style, 

or holiday theme you choose.

Once your piece is completed, Laura will take it back 

to her studio to dry and kiln fire with your choice of glaze color. 

(You will choose your glaze during class time)

*This process of air drying, kiln firing and glazing takes up to 4 weeks.

Emails will be sent out to let you know your creation is finished.

They will be delivered back your class site for pick up.

Your creation can be use Indoors or outdoors 

using candles or fairy lights!
